The Laboratory of Soft and Living Materials has won new funding to support research at the interface between materials physics and cell biology.

In particular, this project will explore how protein phase separation could help to regulate elements of the cytoskeleton.

This project will be funded by the Sinergia progam of the Swiss National Foundation, and will be performed in collaboration with the laboratories of Yves Barral of the ETH Institute of Biochemistry and Michel Steinmetz of the external pagePSI Laboratory of Biomolecular Research.
