Aleks joins the group
Aleks joins the group of Soft and Living Materials from May 1st as a postdoctoral researcher.
While in the lab, he will study the material properties of biological liquid crystals such as lipid bilayer membranes. His research aims to find new approaches to shape and mechanically modulate these materials in a test tube, while retaining key features of their intricate architectures as found in living cells.
