New preprint online
Aleks' preprint is online, describing a new surface coating technique that completely repels phase-separated droplets in aqueous buffer.
Andrea's, Hendrik's, and Aleks' preprint is now on arXiv, describing a new surface passivation method for super-repellence of aqueous macromolecular condensates.
Phase-separated droplets of macromolecules such as bio-condensates tend to stick to test tubes walls and microscope slides, which often interferes with in vitro experiments. Our paper describes a way to counteract this by coating microscope slides with a thin transparent hydrogel that exhibits complete dewetting and minimal pinning of phase-separated droplets in aqueous solution.
