In this paper, fully analytical solutions for the deformation of a stretched soft substrate due to the static wetting of a large liquid droplet are derived. Comparison with experimental data shows that opening angles of the wetting ridge are more accurately captured when accounting for finite deformations of the surface. In addition, revised values of surface elastic constants are given.
