Carla joins the lab

Carla studied Nanoscience at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and subsequently completed a Masters degree in Nanomaterial at Utrecht University. In 2017, she joined the Oxford Colloid Group as PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Roel Dullens. After having successfully defended her PhD thesis ‘Colloidal rod-like and banana-shaped particles: synthesis and self-assembly’, Carla joins the group to work on structural colour and elastically controlled phase separation phenomena.
