Keynote lecture
Eric gave a keynote lecture at the International Soft Matter Conference 2019 in Edinburgh with the title "Phase-separation in an elastic matrix: from living cells to synthetic materials".
Rob and Hendrik also gave talks at the conference, with the titles "Small-scale fracture in soft solids" and "Dynamics of membrane wrapping of microparticles" respectively. Additionally, Dominic, Alba and Tom presented posters, entitled "Controlling crystal growth with soft hydrogels", "Bioinspired structural color from phase separating polymers" and "The polymer network of the cytoskeleton affects intracellular phase separation in eukaryotic cells".
